A thought for the day from Living The Field

Gurdjieff, the Armenian mystic, maintained that man sleepwalks throughout his life to such an extent that he is nothing more than a robot. It is surprising how true that is. Are you conscious enough to recall every step you took on your walk to the office, or did it somehow 'just happen'? Most of us are, at best, semiconscious, lost for much of the time in daydreams.
