Dutchsinse | 9/8/2012 -- Mystery Hum in Seattle, WA -- Blamed on mating Fish?! Surely, you jest?!

Original MSM report on the mysterious sounds in Seattle, Washington:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRc2Ua1LL9A
EPIC FAIL by the MSM !! Such a tragedy people actually end up believing these so-called "professionals" operating under the pretense of FALSE science.. while proclaiming "real science" is being done.
This "fish call" hypothesis is SUCH a reach.. it has no merit in the discussion.
Most likely possible cause. Fault lines. I would urge you to NOT have a fishing pole ready to catch midshipman fish..... rather.... have an earthquake plan ready if you live in the pacific northwest (seattle / cascadia region).
Do NOT believe these talking heads --- the sound is NOT from fish mating calls !! Most likely, its related to tectonic forces at work. Don't believe me about the seismic unrest... see my most recent earthquake overview , and rethink your position !

SolarHam.com | VIDEO - M1.4 Solar Flare - Sunspot 1564 (9/8/2012)

Sunspot 1564 produced a long duration M1.4 Solar Flare at 17:59 UTC on Sept. 8, 2012. This animation by EVE and SDO capture the flare in progress.

SolarHam.com | Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) - Saturday SEPTEMBER 8, 2012

Solar activity is fairly low with only C-Class flare activity detected around departing Sunspot 1560 now located on the western limb. All other visible sunspot regions are currently stable.

A bright Coronal Mass Ejection is visible in the latest Lasco C2 images on Saturday morning. The source of the plasma cloud appears to have been an eruption around Sunspot 1553.This region is currently transiting the farside of the Sun. Images below by Lasco C2 and STEREO Ahead.  So far it does not appear to be Earth directed.

As you can see in this inverted STEREO Ahead COR2 image, the Coronal Mass Ejection was full-halo and aimed directly towards the STEREO Ahead spacecraft.

SolarHam.com | VIDEO - Farside of the Sun Watch - STEREO (9/7/2012)

Two new Sunspots appear to be growing on the farside of the Sun and at least one of them looks to have produced a Coronal Mass Ejection today. The attached video will show you the growth during the past few days as seen by STEREO Behind and also the CME as captured by STEREO behind COR2. The first potential region will begin to rotate into view by early next week.

SolarHam.com | Sunspot Update - Friday SEPTEMBER 7, 2012 at 7:30 AM CT

Solar activity is once again at low levels with only C-Class activity detected within the past 24 hours. Active Sunspot 1560 is now rotating onto the western limb and will soon be out of direct Earth view. Sunspot 1564 remains a fairly large Sunspot in terms of total area, however it did lose its Beta-Gamma magnetic classification. There will remain a chance for an isolated M-Class event on Friday.

Magnetosphere Update - Thursday SEPTEMBER 6, 2012 at 7:30 PM CT

High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP)
The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
Geomagnetic storminess is usually indicated in oscillatory variations in the earth's magnetic field. Additional detail concerning the nature and severity of the ionospheric disturbance can be found through analysis of the three components of the field. Data from a chain of magnetometers are also available.

Magnetosphere - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetosphere
A magnetosphere is formed when a stream of charged particles, such as the solar wind, interacts with and is deflected by the intrinsic magnetic field of a planet or similar body. Earth is surrounded by a magnetosphere, as are the other planets with intrinsic magnetic fields: Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn…

Swedish Institute of Space Physics

The Kiruna magnetogram provides realtime data of the local Earth magnetic field at ground level. Strong deviations in the data, primarily the black line could signal the development of geomagnetic activity. The curves on this plot show deflections from an average. The average is derived from the monthly means of the five most quiet days.

NASA | Magnificent Eruption (8/31/12) in Full HD

On August 31, 2012 a long filament of solar material that had been hovering in the sun's atmosphere, the corona, erupted out into space at 4:36 p.m. EDT. The coronal mass ejection, or CME, traveled away from the sun at over 900 miles per second. This movie shows the ejection from a variety of viewpoints as captured by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), NASA's Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO), and the joint ESA/NASA Solar Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO).
