SteveQuayle.com | Picture of the Day - November 12, 2009

ORIGINAL CAPTION: This is very alarming! My house is not in the flight path to the local airport and 4 planes in formation made 3 passes today, each one over a different area. I was able to get pictures of the last pass since it was right over my head. Black stuff pouring out of the planes...now hanging in the air and spreading out with the breeze...along with the other chemtrails of white poison that we are being sprayed with almost daily from high altitudes that seem to blanket much of the San Diego County area. I have a call in to the airport to see why such planes would be flying so low and spraying us like bugs!

Connection to Fort Hood? -- By the 1920’s not only had [clinical hypnotists] learned to apply posthypnotic suggestion, but also had learned to split certain complex individuals into multiple personalities like Jeckyl-Hydes. During World War II, I worked this technique with a vulnerable Marine lieutenant I’ll call Jones. I split his personality into Jones A and Jones B. Jones A, once a “normal” working Marine, became entirely different. He talked communist doctrine and meant it. He was welcomed enthusiastically by communist cells, and was deliberately given a dishonorable discharge by the Corps and became a card-carrying party member. Jones B was the deeper personality, knew all the thoughts of Jones A, was a loyal American and was “imprinted” to say nothing during conscious phases. All I had to do was hypnotize the whole man, get in touch with Jones B, the loyal American, and I had a pipeline straight into the Communist camp. It worked beautifully for months.”

Australia.to | Obama to Meet Asian Leaders as China's Shadow Lengthens
WASHINGTON, Nov 11 (IPS) - U.S. President Barack Obama's attendance at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum leaders' meeting in Singapore next week will chart a new direction for U.S. participation in Asian multilateral diplomacy and call attention to the new administration's policy of engagement with the reclusive military-led government in Burma.Next week's summit between Obama and Southeast Asian leaders, which will occur on the sidelines of the APEC summit, signifies a major shift in U.S. diplomacy towards Southeast Asia from the approach of the George W. Bush administration, which focused on counterterrorism and military cooperation but largely ignored regional diplomatic frameworks, while China expanded its economic ties to the region.
China's increasing economic engagement in Southeast Asia has become most evident in its extensive economic ties to the ruling military junta in Burma and the China-ASEAN free trade agreement (FTA) which will come into effect in January.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN, includes Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Obama's summit with Southeast Asian leaders will be historic not only for the renewed U.S. interest in U.S.-ASEAN diplomatic ties, but also in that it will be one of the highest level meetings between a U.S. president and a top leader - Prime Minister Thein Sein - in Burma's military junta.
New Report Finds International Monetary Fund (IMF) Agreements Have Included Policies That Could Worsen Economic Slowdown in 31 of 41 Countries
Source: Center for Economic and Policy Research
A new discussion paper from the Center for Economic and Policy Research finds that 31 of 41 countries with current International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreements have been subjected to pro-cyclical macroeconomic policies that, during the current global recession, would be expected to have exacerbated economic slowdowns. The pro-cyclical conditions noted in the report are either pro-cyclical fiscal or monetary policies.
“More than a decade after the Asian Economic Crisis brought world attention to major IMF policy mistakes, the IMF is still making similar mistakes in many countries,” CEPR Co-Director and lead author of the paper, economist Mark Weisbrot said. “The IMF supports fiscal stimulus and expansionary policies in the rich countries, but has a much different attitude toward low-and-middle income countries.”
The paper, “IMF-Supported Macroeconomic Policies and the World Recession: A Look at Forty-One Borrowing Countries,” shows that in some cases, the IMF had relied on overly optimistic growth forecasts – significantly underestimating the impact of the world recession on borrowing countries. The paper also notes that in some cases the Fund later loosened its policy conditions after the economic performance was much worse than anticipated.

Wall Street Journal | States May Cut 900,000 Jobs Without More U.S. Aid, Think Tank Says
November 11, 2009 - State and local governments in the U.S. may be forced to cut 900,000 jobs next year without additional help from the federal government, according to a report released by a prominent liberal think tank Wednesday.
To prevent state budget cuts from imperiling an economy just beginning to recover, policy makers should send additional stimulus funds in 2010 to state and local governments, urged officials at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a Washington think tank.
If the government does not send more economic relief, deficit-strapped states trying to balance their budgets will have to make deep cuts in services and jobs. Those cuts could shave nearly a full point off the country’s gross domestic product and result in the loss of 900,000 jobs, the report predicts.
“Cutting services, laying off workers and raising taxes would further weaken the economy” at a time when its recovery would be especially fragile, said report co-author Iris Lav, a senior adviser at the think tank. FULL STORY

American Free Press | Chaos Manipulation a Forte of Global Elite
Who could calculate the effect of another false-flag “lone nut” domestic terrorist like Timothy McVeigh? Each of these scenarios is very real because the global elite have historically used crisis to disorient and overwhelm the populace into a state of shock so that they can push through legislation that had already been penned (i.e. two successive levels of Homeland Security and the Patriot Act enacted via the OKC Bombing and 9-11).
Barack Obama’s primary thug, Rahm Emanuel, recently quipped, “Never let a serious crisis go to waste.” New World Order elitists most certainly savor these moments. To them, crisis equals action, whether it’s a natural disaster, an orchestrated economic collapse, war, terror, or the instability of a coup.
When these “controlled chaos” events are foisted upon the public through the media’s shock and awe wizardry, the emergency suspends animation and people are far more open to suggestion and willing to comply. As such, we’re so focused on the misery and disaster that our personal interest is exploited before we realize what’s happening. FULL STORY

MercuryNews.com | U.S. is doing no good in Afghanistan
By Malalai Joy
Special to the Mercury News
Eight years ago, women's rights were used as one of the excuses to start this war. But today, Afghanistan is still facing a women's rights catastrophe. Life for most Afghan women resembles a type of hell that is never reflected in the Western mainstream media.
In 2001, the U.S. helped return to power the worst misogynist criminals, such as the Northern Alliance warlords and drug lords. These men ought to be considered a photocopy of the Taliban. The only difference is that the Northern Alliance warlords wear suits and ties and cover their faces with the mask of democracy while they occupy government positions. But they are responsible for much of the disaster today in Afghanistan, thanks to the U.S. support they enjoy.
The U.S. and its allies are getting ready to offer power to the medieval Taliban by creating an imaginary category called the "moderate Taliban" and inviting them to join the government. A man who was near the top of the list of most-wanted terrorists eight years ago, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, has been invited to join the government.
Over the past eight years the U.S. has helped turn my country into the drug capital of the world through its support of drug lords. Today, 93 percent of all opium in the world is produced in Afghanistan. Many members of Parliament and high ranking officials openly benefit from the drug trade. President Karzai's own brother is a well known drug trafficker. FULL STORY

BBC | Crime rings boost ivory smuggling
The last year has seen a major increase in the illegal ivory trade, with more involvement from organised crime.
November 11, 2009 - Figures compiled by Traffic, the agency charged with monitoring the trade, show a doubling in the volume of illegal ivory seized from 2008 to 2009.
Researchers believe most of it is poached in West and Central Africa, while China is the main destination.
Traffic says there is no evidence that last year's one-off legal sale of ivory in southern Africa boosted smuggling.
The volume of ivory seized is not a complete indication of the size of the illegal trade, because the effectiveness of police and customs authorities can vary from year to year and only a fraction of illegal consignments are discovered. FULL STORY

November 11, 2009 - And then there are today's veterans. Collins says that former President George W. "He believed that most veterans seeking VA services were malingerers," he wrote in his commentary. Today, Collins continues, the VA tells Iraq and Afghanistan vets, some returning from multiple combat tours, others suffering from traumatic brain injury, PTSD, depleted uranium exposure and/or plain-old amputations and spinal injuries to "wait their turn," one that is a long time in coming for nearly all and too late for too many.
"So, from where I sit," he continues, "this nation can take its Veterans Day banners, parades (from which veterans wishing to express the sentiments embodied in Armistice Day are routinely excluded) and red-banner sales of goods manufactured in China and shove it all where the sun don't shine." Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is planning a short trip to Iraq early next week to visit U.S. troops, his aides said.
The governor has wanted to make such a trip “for the last couple of years, but he hasn’t had the opportunity,” said spokesman Matt David.
In July, Schwarzenegger aborted a planned trip to Iraq because of the state’s budget crisis.
While it was unclear whether the actor-turned-politician would provide any entertainment for soldiers, if he holds true to form they will at least get to hear him say, “I’ll be back.”

Pew Center on the States | These 10 states may be closest to financial collapse

McKinnon, who has Asperger's Syndrome, became suicidal last month after the High Court threw out his appeal against extradition on human rights grounds. He was put on medication. "He would rather be dead than be extradited, that's the reality," Sharp said. FULL STORY
