I usually post all of my blog entries on tree of liberty forum. Alot of the time I get some flak from the usual trolls and debunkers. I threw a line in my last post to quit debunking everything and wake up. I only received one reply and it was quite startling. I am unsure the accuracy of the reply and the info; but I swear you better all read this and pay attention:
Well it seems NORTHCOM agrees with your view. Below is some of what a former US military Flag officer sent me . Russian forces have been asked to help in America " I have some very recent and specific information about Russian (yes I said Russian) forces which have been tapped to "assist" U.S. forces in the near future. My wife is Russian and one of her relatives is a high placed officer who I know very well (by-the-way I speak fairly good Russian). Several weeks ago (I am not sure of the exact date) Lt. Gen. Steven Blum the Deputy Commander of NORTHCOM requested from the Russian government pursuant to a secret agreement the use of 3 to 4 brigades of military security forces to be deployed in the U.S. presumably to assist local law enforcement in "peace keeping operations". When the request was made this very senior officer which my wife is related to expressed serious concerns about losses because of how well the "Americans" were armed. This officer and relative told me directly that he was assured by Gen. Blum that his forces would not be in the direct line of fire and that they would be free to use "whatever force was necessary to defend themselves and prevent future attacks". When I spoke to this officer he asked how stiff the resistance would be? I let him know that it would make the fight in Afghanistan and Chechnya look like a Sunday walk in the park (the Soviet losses in Afghanistan unofficially topped 30,000 and in Chechnya the losses were even greater), I told him that the resistance would be unbelievable. He should expect a lot of snipers, men who have hunted big game for years an know how to hide and shoot, he should also not expect any quarter, anyone in uniform will be a target and that he should expect his officers to be targeted first. Roadside bombs and direct attacks on roadblocks and checkpoints will be commonplace. I let him know his troops would not be welcome and that he should oppose this request, I even offered to come to Moscow to give a briefing as to what they could expect should his government agree to provide the troops. I am sorry I can not give any specifics, this information was given to me directly from the officer in Russia and confirmed by from a high level source at NORTHCOM. Neither could give a specific time frame but my general take was months but less than a year. Update This morning I received a call from Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov's office about giving a briefing/presentation in Moscow later this month on "the extent of resistance Russian security forces would face if they were to be stationed on American soil in a Peace Keeping Roll" i. I would of course be responsible for my own expenses (typical cheap ass Russians) but the defense ministry would provide ground transportation and appropriate security should I agree to come to Moscow. Needless to say I accepted and a preliminary date was set for January 28th at 0930. ". end of quotes. Remember that it has already been confirmed that the US and Canada have such an agreement for Canadian troops to be used in CONUS if the US requests them. So can anyone here cite where in the US Constitution where it authorizes foreign military to exercise authority over US Citizens in the US? While studing Consitutional Law in University I never ever discovered such a cite or even doctrine. __________________ Information like fertilizer does no good unless you spread it.
Washington, USA – the nut job Cass Sunstein is officially a enemy of the internet. The man that wants to ban free speech online should be made war against according to the New York Post:
“Sunstein is an enemy to every news organization and blogger. We should return the favor and declare war on him.”
In 1995 Christopher Lasch came out with The Revolt of the Elites and the Betrayal of Democracy. The introduction was titled “The Democratic Malaise” and included chapters like “Does Democracy Deserve to Survive?” and “The Lost Art of Argument.” The threat to our civilization, said Lasch, does not come from the masses. The threat comes from the elite. The masses have proved to be conservative. Against the most successful institutions and folkways in history, against the greatest civilization ever to arise, the elite revolted; and in the course of this revolt, wrote Lasch, “they betray the venomous hatred that lies not far beneath the smiling face of upper-middle-class benevolence.”
We will not recognize [American Fascism] as it rises. It will wear no black shirts here. It will probably have no marching songs. It will rise out of a congealing of a group of elements that exist here and that are the essential components of Fascism….
It will be at first decorous, humane, glowing with homely American sentiment. But a dictatorship cannot remain benevolent. To continue, it must become ruthless. When this stage is reached we shall see that appeal by radio, movies, and government-controlled newspapers to all the worst instincts and emotions of our people. The rough, the violent, the lawless men will come to the surface and into power. This is the terrifying prospect as we move along our present course. – John T. Flynn, American Mercury, February 1941

In the 6th Century BC, Chinese warrior Sun Tzu wrote The Art of War. It has been the definitive treatise on waging war for 26 centuries now. Only thirteen chapters, it was translated first in 1782 when a French Jesuit priest living in China, Joseph Amiot, acquired a copy of it, and translated it into French. Subsequent translations have honed the text into English.
In the weeks and years immediately following September 11, 2001, many Americans succumbed to the attractive yet fictional idea that all people in the United States share the same interests, goals and values. This idea of a mystical "unity" among all Americans took widespread hold as a natural human reaction to an attack by foreigners on American soil. With a dangerous cocktail of fear and anger coursing through their veins, and prodded on by the docile and unquestioning American political-media establishment, it was easy and emotionally satisfying to imagine that "we" were united together in a quasi-spiritual bond against an evil and maniacal foreign enemy. Members of America’s political class were not oblivious to the fact that they could exploit this idea for their own personal gain, and they pounced at the opportunity to pass legislation aimed at controlling and subduing Americans themselves – in the name of protecting them, of course. Seeking to distract Americans from the obvious fact that the U.S. government had both provoked the attack and failed to stop it, a bellicose vanguard of the political class pounced at the opportunity to make real their dream of sending American soldiers into far-away deserts and rocky mountains in order to spread "democracy" to the savages of the world.
Everything seemed to be going brilliantly for the dominant political class at the time. Their plans for a greatly expanded and powerful domestic state and exhilarating, democracy-promoting foreign adventures had all become realities. Then, to the dominant political class’s chagrin, things started to go badly. First, on the foreign adventure front, it turned out that the people in the deserts and rocky mountains that American soldiers were "liberating" were not as excited about being ruled by majorities of other ethnic groups as the American political class had hoped. Nor were they particularly excited about having tens of thousands of highly armed foreigners marauding around their countries and dropping bombs on their neighbors. It had been many years since the American Karzai had "unified" the United States through murder, taxation, and conquest, and the political class in Washington had forgotten that proud and independent people are not always thrilled about the idea of having far away people control their lives. They had also forgotten that war always involves death, suffering, and destruction, not ticker-tape parades, peace, and love.
Things then started to go badly for the dominant political class on the domestic front. The American people had become accustomed in the years following 1989 to thinking that "their" military was virtually invincible, and "their" economy was, and always would be, impervious to depression and collapse. Those illusions were suddenly shattered, however, as the American military struggled to keep a handle on two nearly decade-long wars, and the excesses of a quasi-private banking cartelhurled the United States into recession. Millions of ordinary Americans lost their homes, their jobs, and their savings in the ensuing recession, and American soldiers continued to kill and die in the desert and mountains abroad. Under these circumstances, Americans were less and less likely to view their leaders and their neighbors through the lens of "unity." They were starting to view the political establishment in Washington as a threat in itself, and as a group of people whose interests were not aligned with those of ordinary American citizens.
The dominant political class had a serious problem on its hands, and its main figureheads and schemers were summarily ousted from office by a public that was angry and disillusioned. By tossing out the political clique that brought them war and recession, the American people thought they were making a powerful statement against the political class. They cheered and swooned for the New Leader and his entourage, who were careful to speak of "hope" and a new "unity" among the American people and the brotherhood of man. Once again the American people heard the siren song of "unity" among all Americans, and they heeded its call to look confidently to the new political class to bring them peace, prosperity, and health care.
In the months following the New Leader’s assumption of the throne, however, the American people found out that the "unity" the new leader was selling had the same stench as the "unity" pitched by his predecessor. The predecessor had spoken of "unity" among the "free" people and nations of the world in the face of irrational and evil "terrorists" – the solution to which, he argued, was giving the governing class virtually unlimited power to do whatever it wanted to the American hoi polloi, and the unlimited power to invade and kill around the rest of the world. The New Leader spoke of "hope" and "peace" in the face of "global challenges" – the solution to which, he argued, was giving the governing class virtually unlimited power to do whatever it wanted to the American hoi polloi, and the unlimited power to invade and kill around the rest of the world. The American people began to realize that there was indeed truth in both leaders’ talk of "unity" among Americans, although it was not the kind of unity they had been imagining in the voting booth. It was a unity among the ordinary class of Americans to submit to what the governing class told them to do, told them to pay, and whom it told them to kill. And there was a unity among the governing class in America in its ability to do whatever it wanted, incarcerate whomever it wanted, take whatever it wanted, give whatever it wanted, and kill whomever it wanted.
The ordinary American people, having been finally disabused of their notions of "unity" among all Americans, were finally in a position to understand what government is. Government is always and everywhere a specially privileged class of people who have the ability to do whatever they want to another group of people – and do it at the forced expense of the people they control. Recognizing this, the American people were in a position to make a choice that would affect the rest of their lives, and the lives of every subsequent generation of Americans. They would have to choose whether to submit to the whims and schemes of the governing class, or to fight for the ability of each individual man to choose what to do with his own life and his own property.
At this historic juncture, the American people chose…
Scene: Courageous Obama, iron-willed Nobel-prize-laureate makes his adorable little girls wait for Christmas while he bludgeons Congress to pass anything they can call heath care reform so the Cavalcade of Czars can fill in the blanks later
By Dr. Robert R. Owens Monday, December 28, 2009
You can’t beat good political drama. The Nuremberg rallies with all those glistening uniforms and snappy torch light marches. he May Day Parades with the Soviet gerontocracy standing on Lenin’s tomb smiling at the grandchildren of the people they tortured riding on their shiny tanks and missile launchers.
Even little North Korea stages some pretty impressive mass birthday parties for the Glorious Midget. We may disagree with everything these totalitarian nightmare regimes stand for. We may abhor their gangster tactics and hellish fantasies about conquering the world but you have to give them credit for knowing how to wow the crowd. hey know how to stage a scene and then walk on as the Luke Skywalker of megalomania, wave to the great unwashed return to their castle of doom and continue living life large like Dr. No or in Kim Jong-II’ s case Mini-Me.
The Denver acceptance speech with its Styrofoam Acropolis gave us a hint of the political theater to come. he Victory speech to the teaming masses in Grant Park let us know the curtain was rising. Like the Perils of Pauline in a serial of sequels the suspense continues in the never-ending crisis. We must have health care and we must have it now! We’re so far in debt we need to spend a massive amount quickly or we’ll go bankrupt. his is an emergency there’s no time to read the bill hurry up and vote. We need this now even though it won’t be implemented until after the next presidential election. Hurry up vote!!!
There’s nail-biting suspense and edge-of-the-seat excitement as the plot thickens. What will it cost to buy Mary Landrieu’s vote? How much does Ben Nelson want for Nebraska’s vote? Ram it through no matter what the people want. Our lawyer-infested government knows better. Besides, who are we to question the only honest politician to emerge from the swamp of Chicago political corruption? Want to wake up with a horse’s head in our bed? Just pay the big and shut up they obviously know what’s best they’ve got 60 votes.
What a scene. he courageous iron-willed Nobel-prize-laureate makes his adorable little girls wait for Christmas while Daddy bludgeons a compliant Congress to pass anything they can call heath care reform so the Cavalcade of Czars can fill in the blanks later.
Every move they’ve taken since the November Revolution has been to seize control of the economy and society. Following the insurance, banking, and auto coups the health care take-over delivers another 1/6 of the economy into their clutches. Swiftly following will be Cap-n-Trade either by legislation or EPA mandate, Import-a-Voter-Immigration-Reform and watch for the regime to begin acting as if whatever that was the Boss agreed to in Copenhagen is a ratified treaty committing America to the UN administered shake-down carbon tax to help prop up statists around the world.
The plan is to push through so many changes and to commit us to such enormous debt there will be no way back to the America we’ve known. hey’re also planning on maintaining their power in perpetuity through Acorn voter registration, manipulation of the census and import-a-voter immigration reform. Echoing the question I hear every day as I travel around the country, the question I receive every day in emails from concerned Americans from sea to shining sea, ‚ÄúWhat can we do?‚Äù
We must organize. We must remain peaceful but we must organize. he Tea Party movement blazed the way. Now a new organization, GOOOH, or Get Out of Our House is growing on the American political horizon with the intention of vetting and backing candidates across the political spectrum. Others such as the Tea Party Patriots and the Tea Party Express are springing up bringing like-minded Americans together for education, encouragement and inspiration. Using the Internet and the exploding social networks these innovative groups are leading the way.
Believers in free enterprise, personal liberty and individual freedom are coalescing to out-organize the organizers. Constitutionally limited government will return to Washington for we shall not go silently into that long dark night. he arrogant career politicians, their media fellow travelers and the entrenched technocrat bureaucracy may think they’ve won the final round. hey may think the America we’ve known and loved is down for the count but in reality all they’ve done is awaken a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve. Don’t despair. Keep the faith. We shall overcome.
Patriots issue the final warning: Listen Washington!
To our ultimate shame and utmost agony, we are now a mere shadow of that symbolized greatness. We have become a pathetic caricature of the strong, independent and “righteous” embodiment of liberty, freedom and justice for every citizen. No longer are there patriotic and moving renditions of our national anthem. Sousa marches are heard once or twice a year at service academy graduations or on Memorial Day. Veterans.......
In response to President Barack Obama's announcement on December 1 to deploy 30,000 additional troops to the occupation of Afghanistan, the organization March Forward!, comprising both veterans and active-duty members of the US military, has called on all soldiers to refuse their orders to deploy.
"March Forward! calls on all service members to refuse orders to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq," reads a press release from the group from December 3. "We offer our unconditional support and solidarity. Join us in the fight to ensure that no more soldiers or civilians lose their lives in these criminal wars."
Michael Prysner, a former corporal in the Army who served from 2001-2005 and a veteran of the occupation of Iraq, co-founded the group with another Iraq war veteran, James Circello.
Truthout asked Prysner how he responds to those who believe a soldier should always follow orders, no matter what.
"In my experience the majority of people joining the military today join out of necessity, like money, jobs, help for their family, etc., so most don't join for ideological or patriotic reasons. Most are driven into the military by economic conditions. We see this playing out now, as people are joining in droves because of the economy."
Prysner added, "Yes, people do sign a contract to follow orders, but those orders are wrong and unlawful. We want to educate people to the fact that these are immoral orders, and they [soldiers] are being used as muscle for corporations, to colonize the developing world, and it's not legitimate. People who join and take this oath seriously who think they are in [the military] to defend the US, this is not what we are being used for in the military today."
Veterans and active-duty service members respond to Obama's speech on Afghanistan war escalation
The statement below was issued on Dec. 3 by March Forward!, an organization of veterans and active-duty service members affiliated with the ANSWER Coalition.
On Dec. 1, we got a clear order from President Obama. For many more years, we will be sent to kill, to die, to be maimed and wounded, in a war where “victory” is impossible, against a people who are not our enemies.
For over eight years, we have come home in coffins, in wheelchairs, with our skin burned and with our days and nights haunted by the trauma of war. We return home to a VA whose services are so inadequate that active duty soldiers who succumb to suicide outnumber those killed in combat.
The suffering we and our families must cope with is shared by the people of Afghanistan, a people who did nothing except be born in one of the most impoverished countries on the planet, which Washington saw decades ago as a strategic region for trade, resources and the launching of future wars.
The Afghanistan war is not a war to “help” the Afghan people, and it is certainly not a war for “national defense.” It is a colonial-type war. It is a war like every other war the U.S. has waged; a war based on lies and false rationales, serving only to expand the reach of U.S. corporate interests.
Many of us joined the U.S. military because we believed we would be standing for something honorable and just; that we would be defending our families and helping those in need. But this is the great lie peddled by the military brass. And this is the great lie President Obama has just repeated to the world.
We soldiers are the muscle used to colonize the world for the rich. This is why all of us—those currently serving in the U.S. military, and all those who have served—have common cause.
Obama’s announcement to continue and vastly escalate the war in Afghanistan is a death sentence for us and our sisters and brothers in uniform. Why should we fight in this war? Why should we risk being killed, or our losing limbs, or being permanently disfigured, or enduring a lifetime of PTSD? Why should we leave our families and our children behind, why should we watch our friends die, why should we destroy the lives of innocent people who have done nothing to harm us?
We should not!
March Forward! supports the right of all service members to refuse illegal and immoral orders. Orders to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq are just that: illegal and immoral. We have no reason to fight in these wars, and we have every right to refuse to be a part of them.
March Forward! calls on all service members to refuse orders to deploy to Afghanistan and Iraq. We offer our unconditional support and solidarity. Join us in the fight to ensure that no more soldiers or civilians lose their lives in these criminal wars.
This is not our war!

March Forward! 10 Point Program for Struggle
1
We demand the right to refuse illegal and immoral orders. Service members should no longer be bound to carry out the plans of the Pentagon and Wall Street in violation of U.S. law, international law and people’s right to self-determination. Service members deserve the right to resist, without persecution, orders that conflict with internationally recognized laws or that conflict with their own conscience.
2
We demand an immediate end to the criminal occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan. Service members should no longer be sent to fight, kill, die, be seriously wounded and/or psychologically scarred furthering the domination of U.S. corporations over other nations. We have nothing to gain from these wars. The occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan serve only the interests of the rich, not the service personnel who are sent over and over to repress people who have the right to determine their own destiny. The people of Iraq and Afghanistan are not our enemies. The more than 800 U.S. bases in 130 countries around the world should be shut down and the troops, fleets and air power brought home.
3
We demand an end to the existing officer corps. The existing class stratification in the military must end. Officers—who are overwhelmingly from more privileged sectors of society—enjoy a much higher standard of living. They are paid significantly more, are provided much higher quality housing, and have access to services not available to enlisted personnel. Officers advance their careers on the backs of enlisted personnel, going so far as to send their troops into harm’s way for the good of their résumés. The existing officer corps should be dismantled and replaced by enlisted service members who are democratically elected by their units and who are subject to recall at anytime. Officers should no longer enjoy special privileges, including hand salutes. We also demand the right for lower enlisted ranks to unionize and form committees to address grievances with the chain of command, the unit and the military.
4
We demand an end to racism, sexism and homophobia prevalent in the military. These are intentional barriers to rank-and-file unity against the will of the Pentagon, and must be eliminated through comprehensive education and strict disciplinary action. We demand an end to the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy and all other discriminatory measures against lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and transgender individuals.
5
We demand adequate funding for The Department of Veterans Affairs. Veterans should have full access to quality health care. Services should be drastically expanded to meet the real physical and mental health needs of veterans and their families. Independent medical investigations should be initiated to research the effects of potentially harmful experimental drugs and chemical, biological and nuclear agents to which service members have been exposed. Any service member who has served in a combat theater should automatically receive lifetime compensation from the VA for being forced to suffer or inflict physical and/or psychological harm in advancing the interests of U.S. corporations.
6
We demand the right to a job, housing, health care and education for all. Service members are lured into the military with the hopes of escaping economic hardship as a civilian, and to obtain education benefits and job training. Yet thousands of service members must remain in the military, literally trapped due to the lack of opportunities in the civilian world. No service member should have to choose between military service and poverty. Housing, a job, and access to free quality education and job training should be a right for everyone.
7
We demand the immediate end to all military aid to governments in service of US imperialism. U.S. domination is not only exercised through direct military involvement, but also through a myriad of brutal client regimes and comprador governments that are funded, supported and directed by the U.S. government. Service members should not have to serve a military that uses billions of dollars in funds and weapons to prop up governments that are guilty of committing war crimes or repressing their citizens for the interests of the Pentagon and Wall Street. Aid to such countries as Israel, Colombia, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, South Korea, Uganda and Egypt should be immediately cut off. All remaining funds, military equipment and weapons should be repossessed. Reparations should be paid to the populations that the military aid was used to repress.
8
We demand the immediate dismantling of the permanent military-industrial complex. As long as there is a system in place that allows U.S. corporations to reap massive profits from going to war, there will be war for profit. The domination of the military-industrial complex has caused the death of tens of thousands of service personnel, and millions of innocent people—all in the name of profit. All private military corporations should be shut down or nationalized. The more than 1 trillion dollars a year that feeds the Pentagon and the military-industrial complex should be used to meet people’s needs.
9
We demand that all those involved in pursuing war for profit be indicted. To ensure that service personnel no longer have to fight for the interests of the rich, all those responsible must be held accountable. Politicians, policy makers, lobbyists, CEOs and others involved in pursuing warfare—both military and economic—as a means to reap profit should be indicted for war crimes. Media outlets involved in disseminating false information in support of these plans should also be held accountable.
10
We demand full reparations paid, with interest, to all victims of the U.S. military. As service members in the U.S. military, we have been told that our enemy is the poor and oppressed abroad. But they are not our enemies. To begin to undo the injustices in which we have been forced to take part, the U.S. government should pay for the rebuilding of every structure bombed, compensating families for every person killed and providing a lifetime of health care and disability benefits for every individual wounded, including resistance fighters who took up arms against the U.S. military. https://secure2.convio.net/pep/site/SPageServer?JServSessionIdr004=3bg656k6f1.app10a&pagename=VSMTF_home
Neither Mogulof nor Sunshine could say why so many non-students were among those arrested.
Protesters damage Calif. university leader's home. The eight were arrested on suspicion of rioting and several other charges. "Most of what you have here are people from outside the university," Wendy Brown, co-chair of the Berkeley Faculty Association and a professor of political science, said in criticizing the violence.
BERKELEY, Calif. Dec 13, 2009— Demonstrations are against state funding cuts that have led to course cutbacks, faculty furloughs and sharp fee increases. Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Legislature cut spending for California's two public university systems by 20 percent to help balance the state's budget. Community colleges were cut about 8 percent.
The two incidents are the latest in a series of demonstrations in which students have taken over buildings at California State University and University of California campuses.
"I'm shocked that it happened," said Chengwin Saephanh, a sophomore bioengineering major who earlier participated in two peaceful classroom walkouts. "I'm pretty upset about the fees, but I don't know what the goals are of those who were at the house. I wouldn't go into anything violent, I just participate in the peaceful ones." Agnes Balla, a junior public health major, said she walked out of classes weeks ago and joined peaceful protests that united the campus community and brought attention to a serious problem.
"With this turn of events, that's not what's going on anymore. It's people retaliating against what's going on, and that's not going to bring change," Balla said. "I'm in support of bringing attention to this, but it's gone too far.
"Certainly an event like this doesn't go unnoticed," King said. "We endeavor to keep our people secure, not only for their sake but for the sake of everybody in the community."
"California will not tolerate any type of terrorism against any leaders, including educators," Schwarzenegger said in a statement. "Debate is the foundation of democracy and I encourage protesters to find peaceful and productive ways to express their opinions."
The UC system, with about 220,000 students, raised student fees 15 percent since January and plans another 15 percent increase. The CSU system, the nation's largest with 450,000 students, and the community college system also raised fees.
"Obviously, the faculty don't advocate for violence," said Alice Sunshine, spokeswoman for the California Faculty Association that represents most CSU professors. "We try to steer them into protests that express how to make things better, but I think some of the students are really angry."
"It's a big public issue for the entire state," Sunshine said. "There's wider interest than just the students themselves. The future of higher education in California is at stake."
Police ended the occupation of the campus's Wheeler Hall earlier Friday. They arrested 65 people inside on misdemeanor trespassing charges, including about 24 who were not students, Mogulof said. One person was arrested outside the hall on suspicion of inciting.
Cave Editor's Note: Follow the above link and see what corporate-government media wanted the populous to see ... violent protests vs their own facts of involvement by violent non-students
This is an example of:
GOVERNMENT PAID PROVOCATEURS
KEEPING THE ATTENTION ON VIOLENT PROTESTS and DISTRACTION FROM FROM THE CORE ISSUES
As I frequently say - read the whole article - especially the last couple paragraphs because that is where the government-corporate media sticks what they DON'T want the public to realize. The government-corporate media is in the business of DISTRACTING the public from the looting and pillaging of our nation by globalist banksters and their multinational corporations.

Under Obama-Pelosi-Reid, the US has already sent about 35,000 more troops into the Afghanistan graveyard of empires. Now, Obama has announced another round of re-enforcements—an Afghan surge of 30,000 additional GIs, thereby betraying his supporters on the left and ignoring the majority of Americans, 55% of whom disapprove of his handling of the war. Instead, Obama is taking the advice from the war party—from Petraeus, McChrystal, and Mullen. It's high time Obama, Pelosi, and Reid heard a clear message from a resurgent antiwar movement demanding no escalation and an immediate pullout of all US forces from Afghanistan and Iraq, including an immediate halt to Predator drone attacks and CIA operations in the region.
Come to the rally and let our united voices be heard!

We lived in California during the winters of 2007 and 2008. We became addicted to Fox News and watched O'Reilly and Hannity and Colmes every night. When we got back home, we upgraded our cable to get Fox. I watched the Presidential campaign very closely. Initially because I thought the Democrats would nominate Hillary Clinton and then in astonishment when they chose an even more hard-left candidate. All of last year I told everyone that Obama was not a Democrat, he was a Marxist. He is far to the left of any European leader and even far left of the NDP. I read Saul Alinsky when I was in University. I studied him and his writing carefully. When Bill Ayers and his wife were bombing and killing people at random in the Weather Underground, Weather Underground and the Black Panthers were closely allied. I read David Horowitz's account of changing from a Marxist to a conservative after seeing that the government was afraid to prosecute members of the Panthers for murdering his personal assistant. He suddenly understood the evil that Marxism really was. After the student radicals failed in creating a Marxist revolution in the United States by violent means, they embraced Alinsky. You would be wise to read "Rules for Radicals" because it outlines how Hillary and Obama planned to get into power, and what they intended to do when they got it. Socialism is not the correct descriptor for what Obama and the Democrats are doing. They are going to be much more far reaching than anything Sweden has ever been able to do. Obama is following Alinsky's plans, those set out in "Rules for Radicals" and his other writing. The Democrats are attempting to create one party rule in the U.S. and in achieving that, will create crisis after crisis by their own actions and use those crisis to nationalize the means of production in the U.S. You are in the middle of a communist revolution and few in the U.S. can actually see it for what it truly is. The U.S. is now on the path of financial destruction. The Constitution has been shredded and individual human rights are being trampled. In less than 8 months Obama has used a recession to take over the two largest industries in the U.S. He will debase the Dollar and is on the road to creating an incredible energy shortage that will allow him and Congress to take over the energy industry. But by and large I think that by the 2010 elections, the Democrats will have gerrymandered electoral districts to the point that it will be impossible for them to lose control of both houses of Congress. The incredible increase in the money supply is going to create Zimbabwe and Venezuela style inflation, and with it, controls on the currency and the amount of money that can be taken out of the country. I love America, I cannot believe how the ignorance of the American public has created a situation whereby they are going to lose their Republic and slip into an age of repression and tyranny. I may be nuts, but so far I have been 100% in my predictions of what Obama was going to do, because I merely had to look at "Rules for Radicals" to see what was coming next. I read Glenn Beck's book, "Common Sense" and in it re-read Thomas Paine's pamphlet with the same name. I recommend the book. When the storm finally hits (and it will) those of you who supported the Obama administration will be affected as well. It won't just be us gun owners or Flat-Taxers, or Pro-Lifers that get hit. You'll be right there next to us. You all thought the Conservatives were nut cases. You know - all of us who believe in God, small government, the Second Amendment, etc. You thought you could just go back to sleep after the election was over. In your world, America will continue as before. You'll still have the same rights, the same nice house, the same big screen television. After all, your high school football team won and the other team lost - go team! Even if you have bothered to look up from the daily grind since Nov 4th, you dismissed everything that has occurred as "politics as usual--the same old stuff". In the end, it'll all be OK won't it? Not this time. There are a growing number of citizens in the US that are ready to fight to shut down the government's grab of personal freedom, its blatant abuse of the constitution, and its attempt to replace the American way of life with socialism. You have to listen carefully to hear them, but they are there. I won't start that fight, but when it goes down I will join it. As for you? You'll be shocked because you didn't see it coming. And eventually you'll be saddened when you see that we have truly lost the way of life with which you grew up. You'll be saddened that your children and grandchildren live in a socialist, government-controlled gulag where their every movement from cradle to grave is tracked by the government. But most of all, you'll be saddened by the death of friends and relatives who are brave enough to fight and die for something they believe in. You know, McCain wasn't much of a candidate. I'll give you that. He was the lesser of two evils for most of us. I don't blame you for not voting for him since, at the time, you didn't know w hat we all know now. But at least John McCain was an American. He was a supporter of the American way of life and he understood that you can't negotiate with terrorists. He understood and appreciated the sacrifice made by my father and other members of the Greatest Generation. Mark my words friends. All across America groups are forming. They are forming out of anger and out of desperation at the thought of losing America. They're not militia groups, terrorists as the Department of Homeland security would have you believe; they are Americans, loyal to the constitution. They are mothers and fathers and grandparents. They belong to groups like the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, the Peaceful Resistance, the Constitution Party, the Young Conservatives, the 9/12 Project, and Grassfire. Right now they are fragmented, each focused on their own cause. But sometime in the next two years, our government is going to do something really stupid and these groups will come together. Watch for it, Wait for it. Get ready. It will happen. When that event happens, whatever "it" is, our great country is going to plunge into chaos for a while. I pray to God that we make it through that time and emerge a stronger, smarter country. Naval Aviator, Commander Jerry W,
Dec. 1 (Bloomberg) -- “I just wrote my first reference for a gun permit,” said a friend, who told me of swearing to the good character of a Goldman Sachs Group Inc. banker who applied to the local police for a permit to buy a pistol. The banker had told this friend of mine that senior Goldman people have loaded up on firearms and are now equipped to defend themselves if there is a populist uprising against the bank.
Let me give those fine bankers from Goldman Sachs (and the other big banking and trading houses) a few pieces of advice. And yeah, it's unsolicited and free, so you figure out whether it has value.
A handgun is a close-quarters defensive weapon. The FBI says that of shootings involving a handgun, most happen at something like 7 feet (yes, feet) of range or less. Oh, and you'd be surprised at how many people miss at that same seven feet. No, guns in real life don't work like in the movies where each bullet has a GPS in it and directs itself to its target, and when shot people don't go flying backward through windows. Guns simply make holes in things, wherever they are pointed when they go "bang" is where the bullet will travel, and all the energy that goes into the target also goes into your body (Newton's laws of motion and all.)
There are, by some estimates, more firearms in America than there are people. Americans bought something like 20 billion rounds of ammunition this year alone. Indeed, there are shortages of many sorts of ammunition and have been all year. While some of that lead undoubtedly was expended at the practice range, an awful lot of it is being stockpiled. Everyone who is stockpiling it in various amounts is doing so for different reasons, and most would self-declare it as protection against "zombies." Definitions of "zombie" differ.
There are a lot of hunting rifles in America. Most hunters can easily hit a deer-sized target at well beyond 100 yards with said rifle. I'm willing to bet that Mr. Investment Banker can't hit the broadside of a barn at 100yds with his brand new pistol that he's probably never fired, and probably never will.
Don't bother with soft body armor. It's useless against rifles. It is effective against pistols, which is why cops wear it (see that FBI stat about most handgun battles happening within seven feet.) But again, a hunter can easily hit a deer-sized target at well beyond 100 yards, common hunting rifles are legal almost literally everywhere, even in places like NYC, and a person armed with a handgun doesn't have a prayer in hell defending against a person with a rifle 100 or more yards away that has drawn a bead on them.
Unless you're prepared to practice with that weapon on a regular basis, and unless you have personally been in a life-threatening situation (a real one, not some mock-up or fake "game" run at some "weekend commando" class you were undoubtedly sold to make you feel macho with that shiny new handgun) there is at least a 50% chance that if you really do wind up confronted by some crazed nutball at close range you will either miss or worse, freeze - and the "bad guy" will simply take your gun from you and then kill you with your own weapon. Go ask the military about this - studies have shown that despite putting new soldiers through a grueling "basic training" course a very significant number of them will, when first confronted with an enemy shooting at them, intentionally fire high - that is, they miss on purpose in their first firefight. It turns out that most people have a hard-wired aversion to killing other humans. That's probably a good thing but psychopaths seem to be missing that inhibition. If someone really does come after you they're pretty much by definition one of those psychopaths.
Finally, if you're a "big banker" and concerned about your safety you might want to consider that in the 1800s there were lots of guns too, and yet they were both unnecessary and inadequate. Bankers during the panic of 1873 were simply hauled out of their offices bodily and hung from the lamp posts. We don't have lamp posts any more in Manhattan, so you have an advantage there, and I've not noted a run on boiled rope.
Yet.
A better strategy for your self-protection is to turn state's evidence and rat out someone else. Like your boss, for instance.
Get on the side of the people and help them. You folks in those tony executive suites (and suits) know full well that this entire bubblelicious line of BS you ran on middle-class America for more than two decades was an out-and-out fraud. It is impossible to argue otherwise - after all, it really is just fifth grade math on the nature of exponential functions, and unlike most of America it has to be presumed that if you got a Harvard MBA you passed. Therefore it can also be assumed that claims of ignorance will not serve you.
Let's face it - the economy isn't going to recover. All the stories I hear (and now Bloomberg is willing to print, which is surprising) in the anecdotal department are that you folks have your Gulfstreams fueled up and your bug-out bags packed and sitting by the door.
Most of you have figured out the math - there's simply too much debt that you created and sold off into the market, and you've all patted yourselves on the back as you walked out of Treasury smug in the "knowledge" that you'd be bailed out. Remember this picture?
Yeah, it was all good, right? Uh, well it was - for you. But for the rest of America, it sucked. You took the "CARD" act (the Credit Card reform act) and used the delay in its implementation to ram down Americans throats 29.9% interest rates and huge reductions in credit lines - even for those who had never been late. The Fed (one of you folks - banksters all) could have told you to cut it out and in fact demanded that you do so, but of course didn't.
The supposed "zero interest rates" are great for your bonuses - record bonuses, right? But nobody in America is getting the benefit except you. We the people are all paying more to borrow - when we can borrow at all. Bank Credit is contracting at a record rate. The stock market is on a tear, gold is on a tear, oil has more than doubled since March.
But if you go to Harlem in NY City you don't see "economic recovery." Nor do you if you step outside of the enclaves in Washington DC where everyone sucks on the government tit. No, what you see is both the NY and California State Governments on the verge of insolvency, property and other taxes heading to the moon to try to keep the states from having to fire police officers for lack of funds, and the crumbling of our infrastructure - along with the hiss of an overpressurized "social safety net."
The vampire squid sucked too much blood (debt service requirements) and now the host is dying from volumetric shock, all the while screaming not for whole blood (all gone!) but anything - even an injection of saline simply to make up the volume.
Now please don't get me wrong - I happen to think that you should not lend more. After all, we're here because we got drunk on credit, and you can't drink yourself sober, despite what CNBS keeps screaming about and calling for (including "The Donald" this morning, who's one of those folks who I suspect is going to wind up with all of his so-called "wizard deals" in the pine box of Chapter 7.)
No, we as a society need to go through the DTs and detox. Some of us will go bankrupt. That's ok. Indeed, if you as a citizen were imprudent - if you lied about your income to get a mortgage, if you played the HELOC game to pay off a credit card you ran to the sky (and then did it again - and again!), if you put yourself into a debt hole from which you cannot reasonably climb out, you should declare bankruptcy and get it over with. Discharge that which you can, take the hit to your credit and reputation, and learn from the experience.
Frugality isn't a sin, it's a virtue. It is, indeed, the first step of true capital formation - which is how, ultimately, we create jobs - and true prosperity.
In this vein you need to come out and tell the truth - you lent too much and you're NOT going to do it any more - no matter how loud people scream. We need reality in this country, not more fantasy.
But you folks who stole all this money?
You need to give it back.
Yeah, we know you can't give it all back since you blew some of it on Netjets to various exotic vacation destinations and high-priced hookers. We understand that.
What America doesn't understand and is increasingly unwilling to tolerate is the smug grin you folks have on Wall Street, having not only run Americans into bankruptcy but when your imprudent lending threatened to bankrupt you instead of sucking it up you extorted Congress to the tune of more than $12 trillion in direct support and guarantees.
That is you forced the bankrupt consumer to go broke twice and cover your imprudent acts, as all that money to cover up your insolvency is now being forcibly extracted from Main Street by the government through taxes!
Here's the problem, in a nutshell: If we don't get the debt out of the system - really get it out, not just shuffle it around and shift who's balance sheet it sits on - we can't restart true economic growth.
Without true economic growth we cannot regain the lost jobs, and people cannot regain their ability to earn an honest living and support themselves and their families.
You and I both know that The Government cannot continue to run $1.5 trillion deficits for very long. Indeed, it might be able to do it for even one more year. Ultimately Uncle Sam's credit card will come back declined just like the subprime homeowner, and when it does the thin veneer that has papered over the bankruptcy you have served up on the American people and her government will be ripped away like a bandage that has adhered to a scab.
That's when the riots start and both you and I know that too. It's why you're buying those guns.
But the guns won't save you if ugly times come.
Only preventing the riots will save you, and preventing the riots means we must stop bankrupting the country.
That in turn means we must stop ladling on more and more debt - HERE AND NOW!
Getting that bad debt out means that both borrowers (who are already going bankrupt) and lenders (who are thus far being protected) need to go bust.
That's reality.
This is beyond politics, wishes, dreams or desires - it is mathematics.
Justice, on the other hand, demands that the frauds and abuses not stand. No, ripping off Jefferson County Alabama is not acceptable, and paying a fine is not enough. People need to go to prison. Ditto for the other cities and states where these scams were run - and that's a huge number.
I understand your fear, Wall Street. If I robbed Main Street America of trillions of dollars I'd be afraid too.
Main Street is angry, and with good cause - and the "moguls" who claim that happy days will return if we can all start charging up our credit cards and HELOCing our houses again are not only wrong they're poking sticks into a hornets nest. That's right out of "Dumb and Dumber."
Arming yourselves won't solve the problem you created, and it also won't protect you should the mood in America turn truly ugly.
Do the right thing Wall Street.
Not only will it be good for your soul, it will be good for Main Street.
