Here is a short clip I put together using the new format option by STEREO Ahead COR2 images. CME produced by an eruption around Sunspot 1399 is more clearly defined. It appears to have a somewhat Earthward component.

A minor eruption above Sunspot 1399 produced a small Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) on Jan 18, 2012. This video shows an image by SDO, Movie by GOES-15 Solar X-Ray imager and the CME captured by STEREO Ahead COR. The CME is rather faint in the new Lasco images. It looks to be directed mostly to the south.
