The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) is an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy, the University of Alaska and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
Geomagnetic storminess is usually indicated in oscillatory variations in the earth's magnetic field. Additional detail concerning the nature and severity of the ionospheric disturbance can be found through analysis of the three components of the field. Data from a chain of magnetometers are also available.

The Kiruna magnetogram provides realtime data of the local Earth magnetic field at ground level. Strong deviations in the data, primarily the black line could signal the development of geomagnetic activity. The curves on this plot show deflections from an average. If you live in (or know some one who lives in) Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Georgia, North Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, or Virginia ---- let them know severe weather may be heading to their area over the next 24-48 hours. Most likely the next 24 hours.
Damaging winds, hail, and possible tornadoes most likely will break out AHEAD of the coming winter weather in the midwest --- midwest states such as Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and even Texas --- these areas have winter weather warnings issued for the next day from now 1pm CST 2/12/2012 .
Always have a severe weather plan of action. Supplies for a few days without power -- warm winter gear, communications, transportation, and of course food and water on hand.

We all know California is long overdue for a noteworthy earthquake -- and with the uptick in volcanic activity.. the uptick in earthquake activity related to this volcanic movement --- its always a good idea to BE PREPARED JUST IN CASE .

Dutchsinse | 2/11/2012 -- 4.2 magnitude earthquake in SWITZERLAND -- Europe should prepare

If you live in the EU -- Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and even as far east as Finland.. and as far north as Norway past the UK --- watch out for further movement in the next week or two at the MOST .
HAVE YOUR PREPARATIONS READY -- PLANS IN PLACE -- just in case of larger movement in the area. Food, Water, Communications, and transportation are essential ! Being that it is winter -- and Europe is in a severe cold spell --- have the warming supplies you would need to survive in winter WITHOUT electricity.
