Friday's stop in Sparks was the first of five the anti-tax tour will make in Nevada through Monday. The tour began in California and is heading east.

Similar rallies were planned for today in Winnemucca and Elko, Sunday in Ely and Monday in Las Vegas.

Speakers and attendees criticized President Obama and Sen. Harry Reid, and expressed concern over federal government spending.

Organizers say the Tea Party Express is one of the largest grassroots efforts in the nation with about 350,000 members.

Mark Williams of Our Country Deserves Better PAC says the goal is to focus peoples' anger in a positive way that celebrates their constitutional rights.
