To try to give you an idea of how big our national debt is I was going to insert a $100 bill that was too big for this page. I could not make it fit it was so big, so you have to do without, something you had better get use to. Well the new national debt numbers, not the deficit, are now at $11.7 trillion. Now we come to the deficit, according the the Obama administrations own numbers they are looking at a $9 trillion deficit over the next 10 years. So if we add those two together we get, $20.7 trillion as our national debt. Thats big right? Hold on its get better. If Obama gets his way, we can add at least another $1.6 trillion to the total. That number came from the Congressional Budget Office by the way.
Just to make you think, we owe the Communist Chinese approximately $780 billion, with Japan coming in a close second at around $650 billion. Now if you take just the interst payments to the communist’s in China, its approximately $800 million a month. Thats right $800 million a month.
