Next week NASA will be starting the first of 17 flights over the Antarctic to collect data on how Antarctic ice is changing.

Solar Decathlon on the National Mall

University teams from around the world are working at the National Mall in Washington, D.C. in a contest to build the best solar-powered home. Some of the teams have spent up to two years preparing their best designs for this event.
