http://sheilaaliens.net/?p=1133 "CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) - Chesapeake residents have contacted WAVY.com about a mysterious smell near the old Ford Plant near the Norfolk city line.
Some residents say they have smelled the gas-like odor near Indian River Road as well. Some residents also say it smelled like sulfur.
Jeff Stith lives on Wingate Avenue and says he just want to know what the odor is.
"I don't really know what it is," Stith said. "I know there's like a little factory on this side across the gate when there's like trucks [there], I can't really think of what it is other than some like maybe some neighbors burning something."
Chesapeake Fire Department and Virginia Natural Gas investigated the smell Monday. Employees smelled something but could not locate the origin. "
