Earthquakes Shake Dillsburg Early This Morning
Several residents contacted 911 to report that the ground was shaking around 7:20 this morning.
DILLSBURG - October 25, 2009 - It's not uncommon to feel the ground move beneath your feet in Dillsburg, York County.Several residents contacted 911 to report that the ground was shaking around 7:20 this morning.
Over 600 earthquakes have hit the Dillsburg area since last October and the latest one was this morning around 7:20am.
Unstable rock formations underground are causing the earthquakes, says Dr. Charles Scharnberger, a Earth Science professor at Millersville University.
