CHICAGO — Christopher Kelly, a former fund-raiser who was charged with Rod R. Blagojevich, the former governor of Illinois, in a federal corruption case, died on Saturday, officials here said. It was uncertain how Mr. Kelly’s death might affect the 19-count federal case against Mr. Blagojevich and four other allies, including an accusation that Mr. Blagojevich sought money or a high-paying job in exchange for an appointment to the United States Senate seat vacated last year by Barack Obama.
