Here is the fellow that Barbara co-authored the book with.
Carl wrote three books on the Mayan Calendar and is about to come out with a fourth.Before his demise, Ian Lungold, produced a video lecture explaing Calleman's theory. Ian peppered it with some of his own predictions that have sinced prooved wrong.
Overall though, Carl and Barbara's work is intriguing. To realize that their theory explains where we are in the stream of time in such a cogent way, tends to keep one's finger on their pulse.
