FYI, I had a conversation with my friend in international banking yesterday and tried to warn him about the impending bank holiday and currency exchange. He said that because he works with people at the top (Rothschilds and Rockefellers, etc.) he would know if this were true. He did however confirm again that all central banks have been stocking up on the new Amero currency. I encouraged him to check out my info.

Well, I received this in an e-mail from him just a few hours after our phone conversation:

"As to your Bank Holiday information of this morning, the following is from a close CIA connection, the way it will come down is that starting 8/24, groups of banks will be closed in certain regions of the country for a week or so. They will open again, and then other groups of banks in different regions will be closed; and on and on it will go, until all the banks in the country have gone through that process.

The banks will be opened with a new global currency. Indeed the ratio will be 1 to 6, or 1 to 12. Thus, if you had formerly $6M in the Bank, after a ratio of 1 to 6 with the new currency, you will get 1M value in the supposed new legal tender."

Time will tell, but this guy would not lightly say this, and he does have the CIA connections for the info.

My suggestion is that any of you who have much money in the bank might want to consider changing some of it to gold coins, Swiss francs or some other safer currency before the end of August.

India-US investment treaty to take time

New Delhi (PTI): The US on Wednesday said its proposed bilateral investment treaty with India will take time to materialise, but when clinched it would offer protection to investors in each other's markets.

"The first round of negotiations for the bilateral investment treaty are taking place... we (will) probably take sometime to do this," Deputy United States Trade Representative Demetrios Marantis told reporters here.

Commerce Minister Anand Sharma had taken up the treaty when he was in the US in June.

Mr. Marantis said the treaty would help in improving investments between India and the US -- the two countries that have held up a global trade pact since 2001 on differences over farm subsidies.

The two are also trying to bridge differences on the investment protection treaty.

The visiting US official said the treaty would provide "robust protection" to the Indian and US investors in each other's markets.

The bilateral treaty would also provide national treatment to private investments in each other's country.

White tea could keep you healthy and looking young

Kingston University’s new research shows it may be wise to switch to white tea.

Next time you’re making a cuppa, new research shows it might be wise to opt for a white tea if you want to reduce your risk of cancer, rheumatoid arthritis or even just age-associated wrinkles. Researchers from Kingston University teamed up with Neal’s Yard Remedies to test the health properties of 21 plant and herb extracts. They discovered all of the plants tested had some potential benefits, but were intrigued to find white tea considerably outperformed all of them.

Professor Declan Naughton, from the School of Life Sciences at Kingston University in South West London, said the research showed white tea had anti-ageing potential and high levels of anti-oxidants which could prevent cancer and heart disease. “We’ve carried out tests to identify plant extracts that protected the structural proteins of the skin, specifically elastin and collagen,” he explained. “Elastin supports the body’s natural elasticity which helps lungs, arteries, ligaments and skin to function. It also helps body tissue to repair when you suffer wounds and stops skin from sagging.” Collagen is a protein found in connective tissues in the body and is important for skin, strength and elasticity, he added.

Results showed white tea prevented the activities of the enzymes which breakdown elastin and collagen which can lead to wrinkles that accompany ageing. These enzymes, along with oxidants, are associated with inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Professor Naughton said: “These enzymes and oxidants are key components of normal body processes. However, in inflammatory conditions, suppressing the activities of these excess components has been the subject of decades of research. We were surprised to find such high activity for the white tea extracts in all five tests that were conducted.”

The researchers were blown away by exactly how well the white tea had performed. “We were testing very small amounts far less than you would find in a drink,” Professor Naughton, one of the country’s leading specialists on inflammation, said. “The early indicators are that white tea reduces the risk of inflammation which is characteristic of rheumatoid arthritis and some cancers as well as wrinkles.”

Eight of the other plants and herbs analysed also helped protect against the breakdown of both elastin and collagen. After white tea, bladderwrack performed well followed by extracts of cleavers, rose, green tea, angelica, anise and pomegranate.

Moderate 4.7 quake strikes off US Caribbean islands

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico - Seismologists say a moderate earthquake has struck north of the U.S. Caribbean territories of Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands but no injuries or damage are reported.

The Puerto Rican seismic network says the Wednesday afternoon quake had a magnitude of 4.7 and the epicenter was located about 84 miles (135 kilometer) off Charlotte Amalie, the capital of the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the outlying Puerto Rican island of Culebra.

Island seismologists reported the temblor had a depth of roughly 69 miles (112 kilometers).

Synopsis: El Niño is expected to strengthen and last through the Northern Hemisphere Winter 2009-2010. A weak El Niño was present during July 2009, as monthly sea surface temperatures (SST) departures ranged from +0.5oC to +1.5oC across the equatorial Pacific Ocean, with the largest anomalies in the eastern half of the basin (Fig. 1). Consistent with this warmth, all of the Niño-region SST indices were between +0.6oC to +1.0oC throughout the month (Fig. 2). Subsurface oceanic heat content (average temperatures in the upper 300m of the ocean, Fig. 3) anomalies continued to reflect a deep layer of anomalous warmth between the ocean surface and thermocline (Fig. 4). Also, convection was suppressed over Indonesia and enhanced across the western Pacific and near the International Date Line. In addition, developing El Niño’s often feature westerly wind bursts over the western equatorial Pacific, such as the one which occurred at the end of July (Fig. 5). These oceanic and atmospheric anomalies reflect El Niño. A majority of the model forecasts for the Niño-3.4 SST index (Fig. 6) suggest El Niño will continue to strengthen. While there is disagreement on the eventual strength of El Niño, nearly all of the dynamical models predict a moderate-to-strong El Niño during the Northern Hemisphere Winter 2009-10. A strengthening El Niño during the next few months is also suggested by the recent westerly wind event in the western equatorial Pacific, which can lead to additional anomalous warmth across the central and east-central equatorial Pacific during the next two months. Therefore, current conditions and model forecasts favor the continued development of a weak-to-moderate strength El Niño into the Northern Hemisphere Fall 2009, with the likelihood of at least a moderate strength El Niño (3-month Niño-3.4 SST index of +1.0oC or greater) during the Northern Hemisphere Winter 2009-10. Expected El Niño impacts during August-October 2009 include enhanced precipitation over the central and west-central Pacific Ocean and the continuation of drier than average conditions over Indonesia. Temperature and precipitation impacts over the United States are typically weak during the Northern Hemisphere Summer and early Fall, and generally strengthen during the late Fall and Winter. El Niño can help to suppress Atlantic hurricane activity by increasing the vertical wind shear over the Caribbean Sea and tropical Atlantic Ocean (see the Aug. 6th update of the NOAA Atlantic Seasonal Hurricane Outlook). This discussion is a consolidated effort of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), NOAA’s National Weather Service, and their funded institutions. Once upon a time, Vice-President Joseph Biden said that a nice clean black man was fully capable of becoming our President. And so in the land of the sheeple, the nice clean black man became President and all was well after he sprinkled his magic commie fairy dust on the people and the economy began a massive surge, er bounce, where the GDP was a negative 6% but suddenly thanks to the commie fairy dust the bureaucrats learned how to manipulate the data rather than visit the gulags created in the depths of downtown Detroit, MI, where people and real estate are sent to hell. As the fairy dust wore thin on the sheeple, the realization that there were no new jobs, that they were working harder, and nobody was buying much of anything started to seep through the blinding blur created by smell of the dust often mistaken for the odor of cheap flea market incense. The sheeple began to unzip from the baaaaaaadly made sheep suits and start to march and protest the commie dust’s effects and throughout the land they were relabeled as villains because they dared to stand up for their rights and fight against the machine which might actually repopulate Detroit if the Evil Monk Rahm is allowed to banish the complete enemies list and Amtrak can improve their service enough to actually find Detroit on a map.

The conclusion to the story?

Numbers can lie, but eventually real numbers seep through and those bureaucrats obviously did not get political approval for the following message.......
