FoodConsumer.org | World Health Organization (WHO) Admits to Releasing Pandemic Virus into Population via 'Mock-Up' Vaccines

WHO website linked below states that it is common procedure to release pandemic viruses into the population in order to get a jump ahead of the real pandemic, so as to fast track the vaccine for when it is needed.

In Europe, some manufacturers have conducted advance studies using a so-called "mock-up" vaccine. Mock-up vaccines contain an active ingredient for an influenza virus that has not circulated recently in human populations and thus mimics the novelty of a pandemic virus.

According to the website, “Such advance studies can greatly expedite regulatory approval.”

Express.co.uk | QUEEN’S FURY OVER BROWN’S WAR BUNGLING

Monday September 7,2009

THE Queen has angrily attacked Gordon Brown over his handling of the war in Afghanistan, it was claimed yesterday.

Her Majesty reportedly told the Prime Minister of her concerns over shortages of equipment for troops fighting on the frontline.

Prince Philip and Prince Charles have also contacted Mr Brown about the lack of support for British forces. The claims come amid mounting criticism of the Government’s handling of the war.

The latest revelations are particularly damaging as the Queen, whose grandson Prince Harry spent 10 weeks fighting in Helmand Province, is head of the Armed Forces.

Respected historian Andrew Roberts said he had learned of the Queen’s anger through a member of the Royal Family, a serving general and a recent Cabinet minister.

AP | Nicaragua's San Cristobal volcano has let off a series of explosions, spewing gases and showering ash on nearby towns

Nicaragua's San Cristobal volcano spews ashes, gas

MANAGUA, Nicaragua — Nicaragua's San Cristobal volcano has let off a series of explosions, spewing gases and showering ash on nearby towns.

There are no reports of injuries or damage.

Civil Defense Maj. Carlos Caceres says Sunday's blasts prompted officials to issue an alert for 25 districts near the volcano.

The 5,725-foot (1,745-meter) volcano is located about 70 miles (110 kilometers) northwest of Managua, near the Honduran border.

San Cristobal's last such activity occurred three years ago.

San Cristóbal

San Cristóbal from the Ingenio San Antonio sugar mill in Chichigalpa, Nicaragua
Elevation 1,745 m (5,725 ft)
Location Nicaragua
Range Cordillera Los Maribios
Coordinates 12°42′N 87°0′W / 12.7°N 87°W / 12.7; -87
Type Stratovolcano
Last eruption 2008[1]
Volcán San Cristóbal is the highest volcano in Nicaragua at 1,745 m (5,725 ft). Located near to the northwest corner of the country, it forms a majestic backdrop to the town of Chichigalpa, Chinandega. It is also among the most active volcanos in Nicaragua, erupting frequently (if gently).
San Cristóbal is part of a 5-member volcanic complex that bears the same name. El Chonco lies 4 km to the west, and Moyotepe 4 km to the north east. Joined to the volcano's eastern flank is Volcán Casita, which buried a village with a catastrophic landslide in 1998. The scars from said landslide are still visible today. Finally, La Pelona is located on the eastern end of the complex.[1] Physical features
San Cristóbal is the youngest volcano in its complex. It is a nearly symmetrical stratovolcano, rising in a distinctive cone shape. The SW slope is the longest, and the crater rim on that side rises 140 m above the NE end due to prevailing trade winds that distribute tephra to the SW.[1]
The crater is 500x600 m in size. While the volcano was at one point covered in tropical forests, the large quantities of gas and smoke that it emits constantly have killed off much of the vegetation. [2]

Eruptive history
  • 1685: Erupted strongly enough to merit preservation in historical accounts.
  • August 1919: Produced loud noises and light tremors that were felt in surrounding areas.
  • May 1971: Produced bangs and explosions.
  • March 1976: Produced a high, continuous column of smoke, several light tremors, and explosions that occurred every three minutes.
  • c. December 1986: Marked expulsion of gases
  • c. January 1987: Expelled large quantities of gas.
  • May 1997: Entered into a new eruptive period, expelling gases, ash, and sand, and also producing light tremors.
  • December 1999: Expelled gas, ash, and sand.
  • May, August 2001: Reactivated.
  • April 2006: Moderate phreatic eruption.
  • July 2008: Rumbled with a series of small explosions, and expelled gas.
Current activity
San Cristóbal remains quite active, continuously expelling copious amounts of gas and smoke. As recent as April 2006, it was reported that water from heavy rains seeped down to the magma at the volcano's core, causing seismic disturbances and an expulsion of a large quantity of steam.[3]

Friends of the Earth Middle East (FoEME) is a unique organization at the forefront of the environmental peacemaking movement. As a tri-lateral organization that brings together Jordanian, Palestinian, and Israeli environmentalists, its primary objective is the promotion of cooperative efforts to protect a shared environmental heritage. In so doing, it seeks to advance both sustainable regional development and the creation of necessary conditions for lasting peace in the region. FoEME has offices in Amman, Bethlehem, and Tel-Aviv, employs 40 paid staff and actively involves hundreds of volunteers. It is a member of Friends of the Earth International, the largest grassroots environmental organization in the world.

The people and wildlife of the region are dependent on many of the same natural resources. Shared surface and sub-surface freshwater basins, shared seas, common flora and fauna species and a shared air-shed are some of the characteristics that necessitate regional cooperation. FoEME's efforts are thus focused on the rehabilitation of the Jordan River, Dead Sea, Mountain and Coastal Aquifers and fostering awareness about the regional impact of climate change. FoEME advances these projects by publishing scientific and social research, spearheading national-level advocacy campaigns and engaging in grassroots community development. FoEME's focal program, the Good Water Neighbors project, engages residents of all ages, mayors and municipal representatives in seventeen communities throughout Israel, Palestine and Jordan in a united effort to rehabilitate the regions' shared water resources.

Rense.com | World's top anti-virus microbiologists are being killed off. Why isn't mainstream media reporting on this story?

The world's top anti-virus microbiologists are being killed off. By 2005, 40 were dead. Today, over 100. Many murdered, the rest died under very suspicious circumstances. It is know they were all working on highly sensitive or government funded projects tied to bio-weapons and viral pandemics.

Are these silenced 'whistleblowers' who know too much? Why isn't mainstream media reporting on this story?

All-Gov.com: Everything our government really does | Banks Spend Lavishly to Fight Regulation of Derivatives

Sunday, September 06, 2009

When an investment market is worth almost $600 trillion, banks are going to spend heavily to try and keep federal regulators from touching it. That’s what five commercial banks—JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup—are doing to convince Congress not to restrict their trading of over-the-counter derivatives, even though they contributed substantially to the financial crisis last year. The five big banks, which have spent nearly $100 million since 2007 on lobbying and campaign contributions, stand to make more than $35 billion this year trading unregulated derivatives contracts, as long as the federal government stays out of the market.

But the Obama administration is determined to toughen regulations on the risky market. When the Treasury Department submitted its plan to Congress in August, it kept things quiet so that banking lobbyists couldn’t get an early read on the proposal and begin shaping the debate. Some observers say that despite their deep pockets, banks may have a tough time overcoming the anger on Capitol Hill towards unfettered derivatives trading.
“Public sentiment isn’t very much in their favor,” Richard Lindsey, a former director of market regulation at the Securities and Exchange Commission, told Bloomberg News. “In some places, they’re not going to have anybody who wants to listen to them.”

BBC | A new species of giant rat has been discovered deep in the jungle of Papua New Guinea.

Click to view video on news website:
The rat, which has no fear of humans, measures 82cm long, placing it among the largest species of rat known anywhere in the world.

The creature, which has not yet been formally described, was discovered by an expedition team filming the BBC programme Lost Land of the Volcano.

It is one of a number of exotic animals found by the expedition team.

Like the other exotic species, the rat is believed to live within the Mount Bosavi crater, and nowhere else.

"This is one of the world's largest rats. It is a true rat, the same kind you find in the city sewers," says Dr Kristofer Helgen, a mammalogist based at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History who accompanied the BBC expedition team.

http://www.thezimbabwean.co.uk/

The Zimbabwean newspaper, has been driven into exile for reporting on how the Mugabe regime has rigged elections, crushed the opposition, caused poverty, disease and the total collapse of the economy. And now, having been exiled, the regime has slapped a 55% luxury import duty on the paper (as if freedom of speech is a luxury) that makes it unaffordable for the average Zimbabwean. To get the paper into Zimbabwean hands, it needs to be subsidised, and our client can only do that by raising awareness, acquiring new customers and driving sales outside Zimbabwe.
