SolarHam.com | Long Duration C-Flare and CME (4/30/2012)

Departing Sunspot 1465 produced a long duration C3.9 Flare early on Monday morning. A Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) resulted but is not directed towards Earth. This movie shows the flare in progress and the CME as seen by Lasco C2.
