SolarHam.com | Moderate to Strong Geomagnetic Subsiding

Updated 7/16/2012 @ 12:55 UTC
The Geomagnetic Storm is slowly beginning to subside. The Bz component of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) spent over 24 hours tipped sharply south and this helped to ignite storm conditions. This event generated a large Aurora signal opening across the VHF Amateur Radio bands and also provided many with a brilliant Aurora display. More updates today should storm conditions flareup again..
