SolarHam.com | Solar Wind remains elevated after the initial CME impact on Saturday afternoon

Geomagnetic Storming reaching the Moderate G2 Level (Kp=6) is currently taking place early on Sunday morning. The Bz component of the Interplanetary Magnetic Field is tilting sharply south and this is helping to intensify geomagnetic activity. The solar wind remains at elevated levels after the initial CME impact on Saturday afternoon. Be on the lookout for Aurora if it is currently dark outside.
