SolarHam.com | Solar activity should now sit at very low levels heading into the weekend (7/20/12)


The current visible sunspot regions are each small and magnetically stable. Old region 1512 did rotate into view off the southeast limb, but is for the most part a spotless plage. The solar flux value dropped to 100 and may sink even lower today. Proton Levels currently remain above the minor S1 Radiation Storm threshold on Friday morning.
