SolarHam.com | Coronal Mass Ejection CME image - Monday JULY 2, 2012



The M5.6 Solar Flare from earlier today did generate a blob of plasma that looks to be directed mostly towards the south and not towards Earth. This image by STEREO Ahead COR2 shows the direction of the CME cloud. 




Plasma shoots out, Plasma gets sucked back. Here is a great view of the solar flare along with the plasma that was ejected. Most of the CME material did not escape and was sucked back in towards the Sun.
